COMPROMISO CON NUESTROS ADULTOS MAYORES
Como parte de nuestro compromiso con el bienestar y la dignidad de los adultos mayores, la ONG Tú Eres Yo, Yo Soy Tú regresó a un hogar para adultos mayores de Tumaco, Nariño, Colombia, para realizar una nueva entrega de artículos de primera necesidad.
Esta iniciativa dio continuidad al apoyo que anteriormente habíamos brindado a los residentes del hogar y reafirmó nuestro deseo de mantener una presencia solidaria en la comunidad.
UNA NUEVA ENTREGA, EL MISMO COMPROMISO
Durante esta visita se entregaron artículos esenciales destinados a contribuir al cuidado y bienestar cotidiano de los adultos mayores residentes del hogar.
Para nuestra organización, regresar tiene un significado especial.
No queremos que nuestras iniciativas sean únicamente acciones aisladas. Siempre que nuestras posibilidades y recursos lo permitan, buscamos dar continuidad a los vínculos creados con las personas y comunidades a las que hemos tenido la oportunidad de apoyar.
Más allá de la ayuda material, cada visita representa una oportunidad para compartir, acompañar y recordar a nuestros adultos mayores que continúan siendo una parte valiosa de nuestras comunidades.
DIGNIDAD, RESPETO Y ACOMPAÑAMIENTO
Creemos que envejecer con dignidad también significa sentirse respetado, valorado y acompañado.
Por esta razón, dentro de nuestras posibilidades, continuaremos promoviendo iniciativas que contribuyan al bienestar de los adultos mayores y que ayuden a visibilizar la importancia de brindarles atención, respeto y acompañamiento.
A todas las personas que colaboraron e hicieron posible que pudiéramos regresar a Tumaco con esta nueva entrega: gracias.
Cada aportación nos permite continuar convirtiendo la solidaridad en acciones concretas.
Porque regresar también es una forma de demostrar que nuestro compromiso continúa.

COMMITMENT TO OUR OLDER ADULTS
As part of our commitment to the well-being and dignity of older adults, ONG Tú Eres Yo, Yo Soy Tú returned to a home for older adults in Tumaco, Nariño, Colombia, to provide another donation of essential items.
This initiative continued the support we had previously provided to the residents of the home and reaffirmed our desire to maintain a supportive presence within the community.
A NEW DONATION, THE SAME COMMITMENT
During this visit, essential items were provided to contribute to the daily care and well-being of the older adults residing at the home.
For our organization, returning has a special meaning.
We do not want our initiatives to be limited to isolated actions. Whenever our possibilities and resources allow, we seek to maintain the relationships created with the people and communities we have had the opportunity to support.
Beyond material assistance, each visit represents an opportunity to spend time together, offer support, and remind older adults that they continue to be valued members of our communities.
DIGNITY, RESPECT, AND SUPPORT
We believe that aging with dignity also means feeling respected, valued, and supported.
For this reason, within our possibilities, we will continue promoting initiatives that contribute to the well-being of older adults and help raise awareness about the importance of providing them with care, respect, and companionship.
